Here is one of our easy chicken crock pot recipes that is quick to prepare and delicious.
For easy clean up later, lightly spray the inside liner of the crock pot with a non-stick cooking spray, or rub with olive oil.
Chicken crock pot recipe ingredients:
- 1 medium can of tomato sauce – or fresh chopped tomato’s
- 10 ounces of fresh mushrooms – sliced and seasoned with Italian spices (oregano etc.)
- 6 chicken breast halves – skinless
- 1/4 cup of red table wine – optional
- 10 ounces of cooked pasta of your choice
- garlic powder – to taste, or fresh chopped garlic
Put the chicken in the crock pot and season with salt and pepper.
Place the seasoned, sliced mushrooms on top of the chicken.
Pour the tomato sauce and wine over the chicken and around the bottom of the crock pot.
Cook on low heat for 6 hours. (200 degrees).
Pre-cook the boiled pasta on the stove. Drain when tender.
Serve the chicken on top of the hot pasta of your choice.
